Live Weekly Group Community Calls
Join others in the Renew You community on a group community call every Wednesday evening for motivation, inspiration, and education with Carolyn Kutsko, Renew You Founder, and other professional Renew You coaches. Frequently we begin by waking up our senses with simple yoga stretches and body awareness.
The Support Network
The support network is one of the most exciting pieces of the Renew You program. It is all about healing through relationship and feeding our need for attention with attention instead of food or some other addictive substance. We hope you will join this transformational healing network of safe support!
The purpose of the network is for Renew You members to have someone to call for a brief phone call during times of emotional struggle when the temptation to eat away emotion is pressing. Members offer other members attention to help participants regain a place of non-compulsive balance.
Anyone in the Renew You program is welcome to join the Support Network. Everyone in the network receives 4 introductory training lessons and ongoing live practice training on how to offer others safe, empathetic attention and support.
Support network members offer one another nonjudgmental empathy and attention with the simple goal or providing members a safe space to voice their feelings and thoughts and reclaim their natural place of well-being. Support network members will be trained on how to offer this kind of supportive attention to one another.
Support Network Members phone numbers are listed on a back office section of the Renew You site. Joining the support network is an optional part of the Renew You program.
How to get started with the support network:
- Sign up for any of the three Renew You packages
- Send email to Renew You administrator, Mary@RenewYouSite.com, saying you would like to participate in the network
- Begin listening to the 4 recorded training messages on how to offer safe support
- Once you have completed the training sessions inform the administrator you have done so and your name will be added to the Support Network list and you can begin participating in the program
- Begin calling others on the list when you are in need of support
- Participate when possible in the Wednesday night community calls for ongoing training on offering safe support
Important Point: The first question all members will ask when calling for support is “Is this a good time for you?” If it is not, they will have many other people to call. Also, during the training, participants will learn how to keep these calls brief (approx. 10 minutes). If handled correctly, calls should energize both the facilitator of support and the one seeking support.
Wednesday night community calls will offer ongoing training and practice for the Support Network.
