Making Your "Green" Drink
Instructions for making Green Drink
Start with 1/2 scoop
You body works very hard to maintain its pH balance of 7.36. When you ingest too much acid, your body stores these acids in your fat cells, joints and in other tissues of your body. When you drink Greens you increase your alkalinity which enables stored acids to be released from the body sometimes creating feelings of discomfort. Starting with 1/2 scoop of Greens will help you detoxify more slowly and should prevent unpleasant symptoms of detoxification. Over the course of a few days you can gradually increase your SuperGreens serving size to a full scoop.
Making your drink
To make you drink, fill a 32 ounce water bottle with water, some ice and 1/2 to one scoop of greens (scoop inside container). After 4 days you can up it to the full scoop.
Ice: Some people enjoy Greens more with ice, however, it is healthiest to drink fluids at room temperature. I use ice in my drink as a treat, but not always.
Lemon or Lime: You may also enjoy adding fresh lemon or lime juice to your SuperGreens.
After something sweet: After eating something sweet you may not enjoy the taste of you Greens as much. After such an indulgence, eating something alkaline, like a cucumber or salad, will help your green drink taste wonderful again.

Drink within 1-3 hours: It is best to drink the Green drink is within 1-3 hours of making the drink and it is best not to drink your greens in combination with a meal high in animal protein.
